Guillon hit a wall in the fifth, giving up four two-out runs. He's out of the game after striking out 10 in 4.2 innings. The Reds have outhit the Brewers 7-3, but trail 4-2.

Billings continues to be the most aggressive team on the basepaths in the entire league. They won 8-7 thanks to some clutch hitting and a couple of great relief efforts. Chris Berset is 6-for-14 over a five-game hitting streak.

Regardless of that last inning, Guillon has been impressive this season: 3.15 ERA, 0 HR, 12 BB/41 K in 34.1 innings. 3.17 BB/9 and 10.82 K/9.
I think it's time to promote Joseph. He should be in AA already.
Homer looked pretty good in those first 3 innings, but looked like his control wasn't as sharp in the 4th. Still, pretty solid for his first rehab start.
Shelby Miller, pretty darn good. Kinda hard to tell though, since the Dragons' lineup is awfully pathetic right now. I don't recall Miller going to a 3 ball count on a single batter all night.
Also, don't know if it's been mentioned...but the Dragons' Play Ball program has an article with quotes from some Doug Gray character. Whoever that is.![]()
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.
Here's the exact quote:
The biggest thing is that you can listen to and even watch some of the games online, and that is something that you never would have gotten even 10 years ago.
