8/8- Reds @ Cubs, "The Super Sunday Special" "Going for the sweep"
Chris Heisey 8
Miguel Cairo 4 Joey Votto 3 Jonny Gomes 7 Jay Bruce 9 Juan Francisco 5 Ryan Hanigan 2 Paul Janish 6 Travis Wood LHP vs. Thomas Diamond (0-1, 4.50) Wowza. I'll probably do some PBP. 320

Super Sunday Special is an apt description. But watch...we'll light 'em up. I'm gonna say 10-2 win.

Atleast the lineup is full of "pop".
If they can get some good swings in they'll be able to do some damage... Wonders how the wind is blowing today....

With Cincy up 2-0 in the series I could see this one from a mile away. No scientific evidence, but they seem to lighten up on the opposition when it the series is in the bag.
In actuality it is just Rolen and BP off, with BP needing a break after getting banged up yesterday. Would have thought Stubbs would get in there also. |

Really, Rolen is the only one with a day off. PHillips is nursing an injury, Heisey is now the everyday CF.

Thought Dusty may have rewarded Stubbs stellar day yesterday with some burn today. Heisey in LF and Stubbs in CF would be my only adjustment. Looking for Cisco to have a big day, all this kid does is hit.

Nix should be in there today....no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Just got a tweet of a 2:30 start time. Only a 10 minute delay if that comes to pass.

Taking the tarp off. I've got a good feeling. In spite of the lineup, the Reds will roll and go home to meet the Cards on a high.
