And it looks like we're playing with two left fielders...

Really wish the line up would get shaken up a bit. At least put Bruce in the 2 hole see how that works out for ya

Actually think this is a good lineup. Can't believe I'm saying that. I don't like 40 year old Edmonds in center but need lefties against Johnson.
Come on boys get it done! Jay Bruce it's your time now. Be bold! |

Re: 8-13-10 Reds vs. Fish
I wish they would just leave Janish in the 8-hole. If it is lefty day stick Nix or Bruce in the two spot and if it righty day stick Heisey up there. Janish NEVER should hit in the 2-hole IMO.

Oh yeah, Bruce is officially out of his slump. Look for him to start raking again.

Re: 8-13-10 Reds vs. Fish
I wonder if this is the first time in baseball history that the entire outfield is being platooned depending on which hand the opposing starter throws with?

Good question...I sure don't remember seeing that. I can't say that I approve of it either. If a guy is seeing the ball well he should play, not sit for the L/R thing.

not a bad lineup, I'd prefer Nix and Edmonds switched.
