In 2007 I was in Lakeland, Florida attending a ST game. Joel Zumaya was on the mound for Detroit and I saw 107 on the park's speed gun. I'll never forget it, Leyland comes bouncing out of the dugout and pulls Zumaya pronto. I think he was upset he was throwing that hard in a spring game with his history of injuries.
