Re: The 2010 Central Division Champions...
Per SC (Reds top story), Bruce is just the 5th player to hit a walk-off homerun to clinch a playoff berth. Ever.

This pic cracks me up. On here we are always going back and forth, who should play and who sucks, yada yada yada. This picture is Janish dumping a Bud tall boy on Gomes' head. No talk about UZR, RISP, BA vs RHP/LHP or anything else. Just two guys about winning. Awesome. |

My cousin from the same family on the last day of Spring Training called the Reds clinching today. He must have been yacking with Grandma!

Re: The 2010 Central Division Champions...
My boys went running around the house, priceless! Their first and at times I wondered if they'd ever get to see such a night with the Redlegs in my lifetime.
Then, there is my dad, who missed his first playoff run since becoming a fan. I am sure he is smiling if the Lord let him peak in on his grandsons tonight. Hey, dad, thanks for being a Reds fan. We continue to carry the torch, buddy!

Re: The 2010 Central Division Champions...
Amzaing feeling! I forgot how good it was. I could get used to this again on a regular basis.
I'm thrilled for the fans, the area, the management, everyone. I'm proud to root for these guys too because they seem like like and honestly good group of guys. proud of them and proud to root for them. One question though... do you think the poofy-haired fancy-boy got any beverages in his coif? ![]() Alsohave to add a special congratulations to Dusty. I've been tough on him at times, but I gotta say all-in-all, he did quite a job. |
