Would this be a political discussion?

The subject is "net neutrality". As an internet site, and it's very existence owes itself to "net neutrality", I would think that it might be an idea for discussion that would lead to the continued existence of this site. Let me know what you think. |

It seems that the cries for the FCC to get involved are actually a backend way to regulate the internet. I'm not sure I believe that these people are truly for net neutrality.
If the FCC gets involved on regulating anyone, this will turn out exactly like the fairness doctrine. My fear is that there are ulterior motives here. It's funny to listen to any politician go after corporations on this issue, while all their pockets are being stuffed with lobbyist money.
