Figures.
Team's in the playoffs for the first time in 15 years, but Todd Frazier couldn't delay his fancy little Puerto Rico vacation.
Punk.

Todd Frazier went 2-for-3 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base in the USA's 13-6 victory over Columbia in Pan Am Qualifying Pool Play last night.

Good for Todd. However, looking at the Team USA roster....MERCY! That's a LOT of Royals players. Wow.

24 man roster...6 Royals.

Guess we should replace U-S-A! with K-C-R!

That organization is loaded right now. For once, it might be exciting to be a Royals fan in the next few years.

Some Royals fans that I know are just scared trying to figure out how "they will screw it up again".

The Royals system is really stacked. They're going to be a handful in 2012-13.

LOL poor Royals' fans. If they screw this one up, they may never win again. When that group gets to the majors the next two years, they will be really fun to watch. I'm very excited to see them, actually.

Re: Frazier in Puerto Rico

USA lost to Dominican Republic yesterday, but Frazier had another good game. They've got one game left for 3rd place, but it's in a rain delay currently.

Quote:
Frazier was the leading hitter for the United States, going 2-for-4 with the triple and a fourth inning RBI-single, scoring Hosmer. Phelps drove in the other U.S. run, scoring Frazier on an RBI ground-out in the seventh.

Re: Frazier in Puerto Rico

Last game was canceled, so the US finished in a tie for 3rd.

Of the regular players, Frazier ended up with the 4th best USA OPS at .952.
D'Arnaud (Blue Jays catching prospect via Halladay trade) - .960
Trout (Angels outfield prospect) - 1.070.
Eric Hosmer (Royals 1b prospect) - 1.150.
