Miami Redhawk win GoDaddy.com Bowl
Way to go Redhawks! First team to win double digit games (10) after losing double digit games (11) the previous season. They win their last four games with a freshman quarterback (this includes the MAC title game and the bowl). Plus they had a coach run out on them and won with an interim head coach!
I'm not a big football fan, but I grew up in Oxford and graduated from MU in '90, so I have lots of memories of MU football and still feel passionate about the team. This may be the proudest I've been about a Miami football win ever. LOVE AND HONOR TO MIAMI!

That's awesome. I root for UC football, as they're typically better, but I live in Oxford and will start attending MU in a couple years. So what now, if you win your bowl game, you're still done, correct?

Because the Ford Motor City Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl is not obligated to take the MAC champion. This particular year, they decided to take the team from an hour away (Toledo).

I loathe Miami, but that was a great pre-game speech.

As for UC typically being better, well, I don't know about that! It seems to go in cycles where one team performs better for a while and then it reverses. I miss when the UC Miami game was always the last game of the season and was such a big rivalry game.
