Wednesday May 18th, Pirates @ Reds - 7.10 first pitch
Normally don't start threads, let alone game threads.. but it's my birthday and I hope they can deliver me a win and keep the streak going..

Happy birthday, but you know we're going to blame you if the winning streak ends for starting a thread with no lineup.

Well if they lose, no more birthdays for you (though events on saturday may take of that for all of us, so I hear). A lot of pressure

Charlie Morton on the bump for the Pirates today. Say what you will about the guy, but THIS YEAR, he's pitching VERY well.
4-1, 3.13 era And lets not forget the last time he faced us. Complete game 5 hits, 1 run. Please, let's NOT take the Pirates lightly. I know their history too...but THIS version of the Buccos are competitive. We play solidly though and we should take care of business. Get it done boys! |

At least Gomes remains in the lineup.

It seems like anytime the Pirates meet the Brewers they get swept. I wasn't surprised that they went on a losing streak. Brew crew have really got their number for some reason. |
