Mass on lung of my father
I know there are some in the medical profession on this site, so that's why I'm going to post the following.
My father has had a low-grade fever for about 2 weeks. He had a full body scan Friday, and his doctor told him today he has a mass on his left lung. It's less than 2 cm in size. The rest of his blood work, body, checked out fine, but the mass was said to be suspicious, and they think it may be cancer. They won't go into any more details because they don't know exactly what it is. They said his lymph nodes were a little swollen, but didn't say anything further than that. Do any of you have any experience with something like that? Any of you know lung cancer survivors that could share a positive story? The family is reeling pretty bad right now. He's our rock. The pillar of our family. I can't imagine our lives without him. |
