With these eight players this would be my lineup:

Phillips
Bruce
Votto
Francisco
Mesoraco
Alonso
Stubbs
Willis
Janish

Yes, I have gone over to the dark side.

I like that lineup. I like that lineup next year with Cozart hitting 2nd and Stubbs 8th.

Well except for Bruce 4th, but yeah it's close.

Reds have plenty of positional talent. Their pitchers need to step up.

Re: Reds @ Cubs Labor Day

Why does Dusty want to keep pushing Stubbs towards the top of the lineup?

When asked this question, Dusty answered 'we need more speed at the top of the lineup'. So Renteria is a speedster now? Dusty talks to hear himself talk.

Carlos Zambrano and Matt Garza. There are two head cases for you.

Re: Reds @ Cubs Labor Day

Hopefully we don't have a full day of this.

Garza is OK...but he's not THAT good.

The Redlegs need to continue their "momentum" from the Birdies series...and hopefully...we get a little beginners luck from Mesoraco, like we did from Yonder.

Votto flies to leftcenter. Wind must be blowing in. In from left out to right? Anybody know?
