Re: 2011 Bengals Discussion Part II

I've never been so wrong about a team and I've never been so happy after a loss.

Exactly. It was one of the worst I've ever seen. After one call, I kicked some toy and darn near broke my big toe.

If not crappy, middling...not much difference between the two.

Hate to be a sour Sally, but this is not a good football team.

I think your letting your emotions towards Mike Brown cloud your judgement. I realize we didn't beat anyone good this season and backed into the playoffs but I will take that any day over the alternative. This team is young and improving, are they great, no but they have been fun to watch.

8-0 against teams under .500. Scoff at that all you want, but in the NFL, bad football teams don't win all the games they're supposed to win, and if they do, it's because it's only a few.

For the record, if New York beats Dallas, the Patriots will not have a win against a team with a winning record this season.

Playoff bound and facing the Texans? I'll take it! Were all 0-0 now.

Is this better than not making the playoffs? Sure.

Are they a good football team? No.

Decent, maybe....but they aren't going anywhere. And you know it.

I don't think anybody will be taking the Bengals over the Pats anytime soon.

Re: 2011 Bengals Discussion Part II

The Steelers are the only playoff team the Bengals don't have a chance against. They can beat the others if they play well.

The Bengals will get the Raiders #17 overall pick in the draft.

I would love to see them trade up and grab a top ten pick with it.

The only teams they have a shot at beating are the Texans and Broncos.

They already lost to both this year....
