Reds Sign Mahay and Zavada
Per Mlb trade rumors: Reds have signed lefty relievers Ron Mahay and Clay Zavada to minor league contracts with spring training invites.

Mahay is 40 and is just a depth signing.
Zavada is actually an intriguing guy. He posted a 3.35 ERA in 2009 as a 25 year old rookie. He has been recovering from Tommy John surgery ever since. He's a lefty who could actually be useful out of the pen in the future if he has fully recovered. |
