Re: Most likely to be on Reds 2015 opening day roster?
My guess would be 9 or 10, including 5 or 6 out of these 7:
1) Bruce,2) Latos, 3) Leake, 4) Mesoraco, 5) Cueto, 6) Billy Hamilton, 7) Chapman All are under team control til then. Then maybe 4 out of the rest. |

Re: Most likely to be on Reds 2015 opening day roster?
Very suprised to see Latos so low on both lists, proven commodity under control through the 2015 season. I feel he's a very good bet to still be here.
Cozart above him seems nuts to me - we don't know how good he'll be. We could see in 2 years a billy hamilton/ henry rodriguez infield combo. Maybe it's just me, but I think our best bets are proven major leaguers under club control through that time period, which is bruce, cueto, latos, leake. The only reason I put Mes above Cueto is, Cueto's gotta be worth the 10 mil option at that time. |

Cozart caught fire last year when he got called up so hopefully he plays the same way this year

I wouldn't get your hopes up on Votto, with the price first baseman are going for. Plus won't the Soxs and Yanks be looking for a 1st baseman by then? I'm preparing myself for life without Votto for my own Mental Health.

I don't know about the Yanks and the Red Sox but the teams I see going after him are Dodgers, both Chicago teams, Mets, BlueJays, Orioles, Nationals and probably the M's.
