Hmmm, I was only focused on one thing so it didn't confuse me at all...

Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears "Livin' in the Jungle" on Letterman 06/13 - YouTube

They had a song in Doc. Scott's 2011 Music Compilation, but the entire album is excellent...

Almost through my first listen to the new Shins Lp. Very. Breezy. Lyrics less inscrutible than usual. Sounds just like Crowded House at times.

I'm surprised that Van Halen's A Different Kind of Truth is not on here, a breath of fresh air from the greatest American Hard Rock band of all time.

Alex Chilton...Free Again: The 1970 Sessions. Overall pretty good - recorded in between The Box Tops and Big Starr so if you like the sound of either group you'll find something to listen to. Best songs IMHO: Free Again, I Can Dig It, The EMI Song, and Come On Honey.

Metropolis is another great one. Didn't discover them until after the fact, but love most all I've heard...

Just picked this up at Shake It Records today - one of the finest live albums!

Anyone heard Alabama Shakes? I listened to the entire album twice last night while mowing my yard.
