Newsweek issue: Mad Men & Retro look
Our issue of this week's Newsweek arrived yesterday and the cover story was about the return of Mad Men and it's season premiere. Newsweek, at the suggestion of the agency hired to photograph the cover, published the issue with a mid-60's look including virtually all of the ads being in a vintage 1960's style. The stories are set up as they would have been back then as well. Likewise, various sidebars and stories look back at the era. Very fascinating issue and I'd encourage folks to actually try to find an actual copy to read. I'm not sure how much of the experience will translate online.
Here's a story from The Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...html?ref=media
