RMS Titanic - 100 years later

The morning of April 15 will mark 100 years to the date that Titanic sunk to the bottom of the North Atlantic after colliding with an iceberg. The last survivor of Titanic, Millvina Dean, died in 2009 in England. As a two-month old on the night of the sinking, she was wrapped in a sack and lowered into a lifeboat.

I am a big fan of the giant ocean liners of the past and Titanic has always captivated me. I still think she was the greatest ship ever built.

There is a website that shows the grave site locations of Titanic victims and survivors who are buried in Ohio.

http://www.glts.org/memorials/oh/

Martha Evelyn Stone, who was a first-class passenger and survived along with her maid despite being initially told by crew to remain in her cabin, died in 1924 and is buried at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati.

Philip Zenni, one of the few third-class passengers to survive the sinking, died in 1927 and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
