Ludwick chased a pitch for another strike out.

Really nice pitching there by Lohse. The Reds batters are really second and third guessing whatever approach they may have at the plate right now.

Re: 4-17 Reds @StL

I'd bet trading the lineup with Louisville would result in more runs. Pathetic.

Yep, not sure I would worry about who's hitting 4th right now.

Re: 4-17 Reds @StL

Yes, the Reds hitters are struggling. But I'm sorry, pretty much ANY team is going to struggle with the way Loshe is pitching tonight. Pinpoint accuracy on ALL of his pitches. When he throws a ball, it's because that's where he meant to throw it. Like that last one to Ludwick. I hate the cards and I can't stand Loshe, but calling it lucky breaks tonight is just flat out wrong. He's dealin' and the Reds are outmatched.

Pathetic. This team has below .500 written all over it - yet again. I'm sure the fans will be jamming the ticket office next week.

Doubtful. That team is hitting worse than the Reds are, if you can believe it. The lineup tonight has two .300 hitters (Valaika and Janish) then 7 guys between .100 and .222.

So...not putting Rolen lower might not matter if no one else after makes contact either.

No, Dean was before Slaughter, Thom.
