Guess the Reds used up their quota of games for the next couple weeks, where they actually score more than one run.

They had him on the ropes early, too many at 'em balls that kept them from cashing in. Maholm is good enough to pitch good against anyone, back to back bad starts doesn't mean he's an awful pitcher, but a soft tossing lefty always has a better than most chance against this squad. Just a type they struggle with.
