Sure, but I want him to be able to go 3 tomorrow if need be.

Johnson walks. Bases loaded. Chapman has thrown 24 pitches so far.

Chapman not sharp today. Bases loaded. Out of 24 pitches, only 12 strikes. Marshall up.

Well...I am looking dumber for saying what the big deal is. Is he not concentrating beacuse it is a 6 run lead? All of a sudden he cannot get these guys out? You would think he would be able to just finish it easily.

And this one belongs to the Reds!!! He made it interesting, that's for sure. But I'll take it. Great game from Bruce, Cueto and the defense.

OTOH, maybe closing out the game, even with the big lead is good experience for him. It probably won't hurt tomorrow, I'd just save the big guns for when they are needed. IMO, Mop-up men are for when you have a 6 run lead. I'd have brought Lecure in in the 8th and let him finish and saved both Chpaman and Ondrusek.

Eh, Chapman probably could have used the work, since there's an off day Monday, and he hadn't pitched since Wednesday.

I like that.....but I do not think Baker trusts him to do that. But that is his problem. I also think Marshall needs work. Either way....I still did not have a problem with it, except for Chapman looking shaky.
