Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
No, but he seems to be struggling at the dish for some reason. Must be the lineup or the way they're pitching him.

82 OPS+. Not really close to league average.

Cards up 9-1 in the 3rd. Would be nice to have a game or 5 like that.

He was hitting .289/.439/.500 coming into tonight. In what world is that struggling?

Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
I just don't see the Reds suddenly becoming a better team, offensively or defensively, by getting rid of Rolen at the moment. Not saying they shouldn't pursue a quality 3B, but giving the job to Miguel Cairo or whoever doesn't seem like a much of an upgrade.

For Votto, yes.

That was last year. Season is over. He's at 57 this year.

Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
When Soriano is making good defensive plays in left you know it's not your night. This ND receiver is still throwing mid 90s! A good few games for him, but the Reds are definitely helping him out!

Re: 5/2/2012 Reds vs Little Bears
Reds get a break as they are bringing in a reliever.
