lol. Arroyo's stuff is weaker than ever. Why people use these meaningless early season games is amazing. What happens when he is shellshacked 3 starts in a row in June? Still have that opinion?

Cozart is looking more comfortable in the leadoff spot as well. This offense is slowly coming around.

Wow, Bronson strikes out the side. How often does that happen?? Not very.

Bronson got another questionable call from the ump. Either this guy likes a big strike zone and appreciates a good junkballer, or Hanigan really is as good at framing pitches as they say he is.

I'm not real big on hypotheticals and speculation. I really like old fashioned facts.

Based on 5 meaningless inings tonight, I'd say he looks like the old Bronson.

This ump is in Arroyo's wheelhouse, with the icing coming from impatient Brewer hitters. Little surprise Braun has tatoo'd him.

Could Brandon be warming up? Two straight hits.

Braun robs Bruce of extra bases.

While I'm of the Edgar Martinez school of Batting, where you work every count of every at-bat in order to both wear down Starting and Relief Pitching, but to "set up" later at-bats by doing so, I could see Dusty's choice of swinging early in the count because you're likely to get strikes. However, if you don't make a pitcher throw all of his stuff, then it's much easier for him to get you out in later at-bats with other pitches than had you worked the count every at-bat.

Dusty is generally poor as a Manager in my opinion, and I've never liked his philosophy of Managing nor those whom he learned it from.

But, I do think we have the pitching to overcome Dusty and the poorer hitting. Again, the biggest Albatross is the automatic-out-Rolen, who bats in a prime position too often.
