Re: 5/17/12 - Reds @ Mets

Cowboy said you've got to put Hanigan in front of Votto because of his high OBP. I'm scared. Who here stole the real Brantley?

I start by looking at the local UDF.

Re: 5/17/12 - Reds @ Mets

Joey seems to have made a missplay allowing the leadoff man to reach base.

Stubbs then tracks down a deep fly ball by Davis. Drew handled the wall very well on that long drive.

It was a line drive which ripped apart Votto's glove.

Yep, there was a glove delay to get him a new one.

Yes, I see they gave Murphy a base hit, wasn't your fault Joey.

Fourth consecutive inning ended by a strikeout by Latos.

Latos with four scoreless, six strikeouts and only one walk. Solid outing so far, albeit with a somewhat high pitch count. Plus by striking out Nickeas to end the 4th inning, the Mets are forced to leadoff with Dickey in the 5th.

HBP and BB to start the Reds' fifth inning. Bottom of the order coming up, with Hanigan next.

Ludwick hit by a pitch and Frazier walks. Hanigan up, 1st and 2nd for the Reds with nobody out. It'd be nice to dent the plate a bit this inning.

Hanigan drives one off the wall in center! Ludwick scores, Frazier to 3rd, Hanigan on second after a double. 2-0.

Hanigan doubles in a run. 2-0 Reds. Dickey having control problems this inning. A walk and HBP preceded the Hanigan double.
