And Arroyo had looked good to that point, we started warming Arredondo as soon as he started losing it.

Either way it never mattered. The closest we came to scoring a run was on a strikeout-pass ball-error-sacrifice bunt combo which Votto followed up with another K. If that is your best opportunity all night things are pretty sad.

If the Reds don't pound Nova into submission then there really isn't much hope for this team.

Yes, on the other hand, we have Bailey going...if he isn't 'on', it'll be a looooong day.
