Re: Reds vs. Pirates Tuesday 5/29

How can Votto possibly have 29 RBI when there are never any men on base?

I might be the only guy on here to say this, but I want to see Rolen one last time- perhaps not until July or August. Well rested, feeling good -one last shot to go out in style.

Well, Rolen OPS'd .656 and never moved from that spot in the order when he was healthy so maybe there's hope for Todd despite the pedestrian numbers.

He's on pace to lead off an inning 150 times this year. His RBI seem to all come on homers.

Cozart-Stubbs-Votto are 0-9 tonight and we have 4 runs in the 5th inning. I'll take it.

To SO Alvarez in his last AB?

Gameday had that as an 84-mph changeup.

Probably the splitter, huh?

If karma means anything, saving someone's life has to rank at the top of the list. So maybe Todd has a long hot streak coming up. We need someone to take over that four spot so we can move Brandon up.

I know he's thrown a lotta splitters tonight but I don't remember that pitch exactly.

When did Homer start throwing splitters anyway? He's got a good one.

I think the story goes that Justin Lehr taught him the splitter.
