Re: Reds vs. Tigers Friday 6/8
if we lose a series to the Tigers then this season is in serious jeopardy of going into a freefall

He has been a big disappointment so far. I get the feeling he doesn't have a lot of heart or a lot of brains. Hope I'm wrong.

In 3 of his last 4 starts he has been given 4, 6, and 4 run leads and couldn't hold any of them.

Re: Reds vs. Tigers Friday 6/8
How do you know where Phillips was supposed to be? My guess is with a left-handed batter up, they had Phillips staying home on the pull side and Cozart covering second on a stolen base. You don't have both middle infielders bail out on their position on movement. Leaves way too many holes for a batted ball.

Re: Reds vs. Tigers Friday 6/8
With Latos' horrible 6th why did he start the 7th?

I guess they are using Marshall for the closing role tonight.

On the bright side you won't have to pay Latos much in arbitration.

He was slightly more towards first than usual due to the lefty hitting.....look where Phillips was when the ball caromed off of Cozart's glove. Phillips has to of course field his position but once the ball is caught by the catcher....he sure hadn't moved very much in about 3 seconds to back that play up......or am I wrong and the second baseman does not back up that play?
