Will be in attendance today, got to get to Verlander early, because he gets stronger as the game wears on.

Still hasn't swung a bat or thrown.....these tend to really linger and I imagine it will be tough to "let er rip"

We will beat Verlander or he'll whiff 16.

Verlander lost last 3 correct? Does that mean he's due for a masterpiece or that the streak continues?

My guess is that several of the Reds who whiff a good bit will pull their man card out and look not to strike out and will hit many 1st and 2nd pitch strikes up the middle or soft liners oppo.

***and my #1 prediction Ryan Ludwick will NOT swing at the first pitch TWICE this game.

You heard it hear first.

Wish I didn't have to go into work at 4. This would be a cool game to watch

Re: Reds vs. Tigers Saturday 6/9

Why is this team playing short handed

Stubbs already out for 3 days will not be ready for at least another 7 days according to Baker.

Baker always give a player 1 extra day after they say they are ready

added up that is 11 days

Being short handed for 11 days is not worth getting Stubbs back 4 days before he could return off the DL
