Bailey should take a note from Verlander: Power the gun up slowly. Allows your arm to get warm and then heat up as the game goes along.

I think he tries to come out throwing to hard, which in turn, messes up his mechanics,screws up his offspeed stuff and in turn, doesn't throw as hard as he should. We really need that 95-98mph stuff to give this staff a boost.
