Re: Reds vs Tigers...Sunday Night Baseball

Can we please just stop the completely inane idea of the post-DL Rolen cutting into Frazier's starts at 3B?

If Jocketty allows Baker to do it, it should simply be pitchfork and torch time.

And no, Frazier is not a LF.

Re: Reds vs Tigers...Sunday Night Baseball

Like i said before Rolen should just be a designated fielder when we have a 2-3 run lead past the 6th or 7th

Re: Reds vs Tigers...Sunday Night Baseball

Frazier is still a little shaky on defense at 3rd...tho he appears to be getting better. I would be cool with him platooning 3rd with Rolen and then getting starts at LF when he's not at 3rd. You gotta keep his bat in the lineup.

I'm assuming that a good 50-75% of Reds fans understand, to some degree, that the Reds' surge into 1st place coincided with Rolen being replaced by Frazier.

And that they can't be too cool with seeing the Ghost of Scott Rolen returning to re-claim 3B.

I have no idea if Heisey could have made a play on that ball, but I'd like to see him lay out for that with two outs and Miguel F. Cabrera on deck.

Re: Reds vs Tigers...Sunday Night Baseball

I know they weren't looking for a walk there, but I'll take my chances with Prince Fielder vs. LHP 100x out of 100 over Arredondo versus Cabrera. Not sure why Dusty made that move at all.
