Re: Quaker Steak and Lube

Quaker Steak is a Pittsburgh thing. I ate at the one in Wheeling/Triadelphia a couple years ago. It was expensive but the food was good.

We have a BDubs here in Parkersburg but I've only been there twice since I've lived here.

I'd rather not pay full price for 30 wings though haha...

Ha. Some of the things I like:

This is the most underrated catch ever. I think that aside from the one where he broke his wrist and held onto the ball, this is Griffey's best catch ever. Kremchek has 6 foot tall 4 or 5 action shots of this (or used to) in his office. Freaking amazing.

I can't stand poultry in any way, shape or form.

As for Quaker Steak and Lube, generally mediocre all around food wise. I like the concept, though.

Yes, it is.

Ham Loaf works out well for all us, along with Turkey for everyone else.

Just to avoid confusion for anyone not sure where that comes from, I said Billy Hamilton isn't a super athlete, but do think he is very athletic.

Re: Quaker Steak and Lube

Last time I was there (I-71 / Polaris exit near Columbus) hot biker girls had water hoses out washing motor cycles. I did not care about the food after that but it was decent.
