IF you are needing a good laugh..here is something from our manager pre game...

"Dusty said on the radio pregame show that his first centerfield option would have been Negron, but he needed some offense up there. I guess he said it with a straight face, but Negron would do much worse than Valdez? And if he really did say “up there” as I think he did, he was pretty much saying whoever was in CF was going to be hitting second in the order. "

You have to wonder, if the Reds leadoff and number 2 hitters were just league average what kind of run totals this team would have and how many RBI's Votto would have at this point in the season.

Good catch.

Yeah, it's where all the great CFs had to hit....Patterson, T-Virus, etc.

Either way, when you hit the hottest hitter in the game, who doubled last time, with a first-pitch fastball his next time up, something has to be done.
