If Leake can't get the inside corner with his front door fastball the Indians' lefties will pound him. Hopefully the ump is at least decent tonight.

I didn't think the ump was bad until the top of the ninth. I thought he was consistently not calling that pitch on the inside corner a strike. And that's what all the players always say. As long as the ump is consistent with his strike zone they can deal with it.

You almost could not have picked two better starting pitchers for Scott Rolen to face in his first two games back. Neither Lowe nor Tomlin are hard throwers. There fastball comes in at Scott Rolen bat speed. I am calling for a yakker from Rolen tonight.

The strike zone was on the smallish side to be certain. It expanded like Todd Coffey's waistline in the ninth though.
