Wednesday 6/27/2012 Minor League Updates

Louisville falls to the Bisons of Buffalo in a matinee game. The score was 9-4. This snapped a nine-game Bats' winning streak. Joey Gathright (.306) with three hits. Dioner Navarro (.338) with a pair. Danny Dorn chipped in a couple as well
Pedro Villareal was spotted a 3-run lead but had a rough outing. He lasted 4.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and walking 3. He struck out five. And left the game trailing by a score of 6-3.
Willie Harris has not played since being sent down. How many days do they have to report? Is he going to report?

Note: Cody Puckett was the IL batter of the week.

Tony Cingrani goes tonight for Pensacola. Game starts at 8PM EDT.
Converted reliever, Jamie Walczak, on the mound for the Blaze as they take on Visalia at 10PM EDT. He will be making just his fifth start on the season.
Dayton hosts the Lake County Captains. Game will be underway shortly. Carlos Gonzalez takes the ball for the Dragons.
Billings is at home against Great Falls. Drew Cisco will do the pitching for the Mustangs. Game time is 900 PM EDT.
Looks like no baseball out in Arizona tonight.

Cingrani struck out the side on 11 pitches in the first. I only saw the last pitch of the inning though thanks to chasing my dogs down in the back yard.

Pensacola gets 2 runs in the first with a LaMarre single, Fellhauer RBI double, Mills single, sac fly by Perez and a few walks before a pop up ended the first.

Silva's 2-2 with a 2B and 3B. Yovan Gonzalez had a 3-run HR. Ryan Wright has a 3B.

Carlos Gonzalez went 3 innings, giving up 1 run and 1 hit. James Allen followed with 3 shutout innings, 2 hits. It's 9-1 in the 6th.
