I think Rolen is playing because it is going to be a low-scoring game and teams can't afford to give away runs in that situation. That is probably the thinking here.

I hear ya....the further back the Cards are the better. They have proven they can come back from many games back and the Pirates haven't even proven they can sustain playing good ball over a whole season, maybe this is it, but they need to make a believer outa me first.
