I think that's safe to say now. At that point, it seemed like a very reasonable possibility. Still, get even with the bag or just behind it. Votto was way up on the grass.

First batter of the game doubles and you bunt him to third? Especially when he is the fastest runner in baseball and would have a very good chance to steal it?

OK. Votto was playing up in the grass just for the hell of it. He wasn't expecting a bunt. Is that better?
