San Diego. Beautiful weather. A great place for the eyes of baseball to watch the battle of the Reds and the former Reds (Padres).

And, of course, the battle of Drew Stubbs and the 0 for 28 hitless streak.

Reds have the 9th most Ks in baseball. And if my math is right, the 9th lowest OBP in baseball.

Heisey's performance while Drew was out seems to have earned him a long break. Historically, this has been about the time Heisey gets the call, has a few good at bats and is suddenly the everyday CF for a week.

Love the Reds... Always have, always will, but I'm starting to feel like that part in Top Gun where Maverick is in the flat spin, except it's the Reds offense instead of an F-14.... May Day, May Day.... The Reds offense is in trouble... They're in a flat spin and headed out to sea.... Sigh.
