Todd Frazier on the bench, eh? Glad to see Dusty playing the hot hand.

Re: 7/8/12 - Reds @ SD Fathers
You have four players for two positions. Five if you include Cairo.
They all are right handed hitters so there's no percentage advantage involved against right/left handed pitchers. So how do you divide up the time for Rolen, Frazier, Heisey, Ludwick and occasionally Cairo? Beats me. I have no clue. I'm sure Dusty has a reason, but it's really just an ad hoc sharing arrangement. They are all good enough (except Cairo) to deserve some playing time. When? Who knows. My guess is simply that Frazier and Heisey played yesterday. So Rolen returns today with Ludwick. I really can't remember another situation like this. So many guys with similar profiles vying for the same positions with no clearcut starters and subs. Frazier is having the best year, but he hasn't been declared an everyday player. None of them have. Whatever. Last edited by Kc61; 07-08-2012 at 02:19 PM. |

Don't sweat the lineup....the Reds should win this game with Dusty picking the lineup out of a hat.
Knock on wood.

Yea, he's now a "hot hand" instead of tradeable scrub.

Yeah, let's not do Cueto any favors and put the "hot" guys in the offense. Unreal.

LOL. Dusty can't win. Scott's been out for how many days now due to the back spasms? He's got to play eventually guys.
