Latos very careful with Freeze to get to the # 8 hitter. Except the # 8 hitter hits left handed. Doesn't anybody believe in the percentages? I'd rather take my chances with a really good right handed hitter than an average left handed hitter.

I would have pitched around both. It's outside-the-box, but you know Wainwright can't hit. Later in the game, you definitely go after the pitcher, so I'm not sure why more managers don't think that way early.

The more baseball I watch, the more the game comes down to the lefty righty thing. Don't think this organization is ever going to figure that out, no matter how many times per game it jumps up to bite them.
