I said the 6th earlier too. I agree.

I love the positivity especially when I'm just being grumpy.

Remember how this board wanted Simon sent to A ball when he first came over? Yikes I like his stuff.

Simon looks good. I wonder if he'd be exposed if he pitched more, or if he'd just be a good high leverage arm.

Simon is our 3rd nastiest bullpen arm and is used in the 6th. Why not the 8th against righties?

Cozart and Stubbs retired before Votto comes up. I, for one, am shocked.

The positive/good inning will have to wait until cozart and Stubbs get their heads out of their rears. Or until they stop making easy outs.

Well. Votto is 0 for his last 6 if you include the All-Star game. Super slump for him.

So is Chapman's slider junk?
Santana's changeup?

Hasn't hit many balls hard since he hurt his knee - didn't watch the AS game though.

I'm not sure why you're arguing in such a manner. You've really never heard of "junk" as a compliment? "Man that guy's throwing some junk up there!" It's been used for decades.

Brandon looks like he's lost a step side to side. He's been missing those with greater frequency. Was hoping the AS break would help, but that's 2 tonight.

I've never heard "junk" used as a positive. Only we should be hitting this junk. Or why can't we hit this junk?

And for those who said junk and garbage weren't synonymous

I see dougdirt hiding in the weeds ready to pounce if Simon gives up runs, claiming its due to lack of work.

Good humored ribbing Doug, nothing more.
