They need to start somewhere. Maybe the let down of the Cardinals leaving town and Joey going down was just too much for them to handle. This should be Dusty's strong suit though. Finding ways to get the players back into it.

You can't understand bc it makes absolutely no sense. It's bad enough having your best hitter out, but you also have a manager incapable of putting forth a lineup that gives the team it's best shot at winning. Days like today are ones where the brass gets a reprieve for fielding a roster full of RH hitters. Unfortunately, Dusty has his mind made up otherwise.

Bruce improves his LD rate. Also his out rate. Inning over.

Has anybody mentioned that Joe Saunders is throwing a no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-hitter, no-freakin-hitter!

I believe this was the team that scored 3 runs in 3 games over the weekend against the Cubbies. Slight correction of the pitching staff it appears. Now, if the Reds could get a correction on the offensive side...

Reds mess up a fly ball to center which drops in.

No more of this for me.

Re: 7.19.12 Diamondbacks @Reds 12:35 start

That was pitiful. That was a routine fly out to center.

Sounds like Stubbs is having one hell of a rough day defensively.

Considering he couldn't hit the ball with a tennis racket right now, that's a very bad thing, for him and the Reds.

Do they factor in stuff like that on the defensive stats? When a CF misjudges a ball that should have been a routine out?

Honestly, that should be an error IMO. Why is that on the pitcher? Should be E-8.

Looks like 1 out of 3 from the DBacks. Something is going to have to change with this offense or it's going to be a long 3-4 weeks without Joey.
