Looking for another strong performance by Homer....

I will never understand how the 2nd/3rd best hitter on this team (without Votto) bats 7th behind Ludwick and Rolen.

It's simple really...under rule 24.51c only CF and SS can hit in the 1 or 2 slot if your team starts with a C or R and has a manager who once played for both the Braves and Dodgers...darn our luck...

Votto will need 30 or 31 starts the rest of the way to qualify for leading the league in anything % based.

Also played for the Giants and in his final season he played for the A's with Reggie Jackson and the manager was Tony LaRussa.

Hitting 2nd in front of Phillips isn't anything like hitting 2nd in front of Votto. Maybe when he gets back Cozart will get back to piling up the doubles.
