Cingrani Skipped
Lefty Tony Cingrani has not pitched since July 13 and has been skipped in Pensacola's rotation.
Also, Billy Hamilton isn't in tonight's lineup. Anyone else think this is strange? (I do like to stir the pot though.) Bane Let the games begin - YouTube |

Re: Cingrani Skipped
Hamilton and Cingrani have paired up and are trying to track down DougDirt for the offense of not hyping them as much as the rest of the World Wide Interweb.

Re: Cingrani Skipped
This happens every year. It's probably just a day off for Hamilton, and maybe Cingrani's skipping a start or two to keep him fresh. He has already thrown more than twice as many innings as he did last year, and I'm sure the Reds would like it if they didn't have to shut him down before the playoffs start.

Pretty sure that's the case, Camis, but it is fun to see people's reactions to the unknown.

Re: Cingrani Skipped
I do think there's a chance Walt pulls the trigger on a deal that nobody sees coming.

It doesn't make me think trade...it makes me think injury.

Re: Cingrani Skipped
Heh.
If that's the case, the Reds just became the league favorite.

If no, hmm indeed.
