Thank god. Might not see Logan for awhile in a high leverage spot now.

Give me the honesty. I'll never forget the time Eric Milton was 100% done, gassed, out of life as he loaded up the bases in a close game and Narron came out and talked to him, and left him in. Milton proceeded to give up a monster grand slam to Carlos Beltran.

I think some of these late inning pitching decisions are designed to avoid using Chapman. You would have expected Arredondo there, but maybe Dusty wants Jose and Marshall available for the last two innings.

Of course, doesn't always work, sometimes Chappy is necessary despite Dusty's intentions.

85 pitches ... Think altitude had something to do with it? Stubbs saved that inning, and he made that catch look easy, too. He got a huge jump on that ball.

Well, that's the fault of the coaches. They should know their players enough to be able to tell when they're done. Same goes for the catchers. But the old saying does hold truth to it, "great players WANT the ball". That's not a shot at Bronson. He wants the ball too...he's just humble enough to know when he's done.

Matt Reynolds in for Colorado. Light rain in Coors.

Bruce grounds out to first.

Yep. And I'm not really satisfied at all with just winning the division, the road there is fun though regardless, and I never have seen pitching like this here before on the whole.

Wasn't that the first AB tonight where Jay pulled the ball? IIRC he'd been going the opposite way all night...without success unfortunately.
