Dioner getting the nod. I wonder how he is with the pitchers. Seems like our staff was setup good with each of the 2 catchers. I wonder how big a difference it will be with Navarro instead of Mes for a couple weeks.

Mes should be out only one week because, as I recall, he was placed on the special seven day disabled list for concussions. Of course, he could then go on his three day suspension. In any event, he won't be out long.
Navarro is a veteran, I'm not too worried about him. He is a switch hitter, but lifetime, like most Reds, he does more damage against left handed pitching. Reds are on a roll, I'm not too worried that Navarro will change that. Very confident in this team. |

Gotta admit I'm a bit ambivalent about the Leake vs. McDonald matchup but as long as Pittsburgh doesn't score a boatload of runs I like our chances.
