Frazier seems to be doing his best Rolen impression today, gotta figure he's learned quite a bit from Scotty.

Two quick outs as Latos gets Weeks and Maldonado to ground out to Frazier.

Gameday says Wolf's sixth pitch to Brandon Phillips was an eephus. Seriously?

Supposedly, an "eephus" is a junk pitch, thrown at a velocity of 55 mph or less. It is thrown as a normal pitch, but approaches the plate at a slow velocity.

Come to think of it, that's the only pitch I have ever thrown ...

I know what it is/was, I was just fascinated that a) that's the descriptive term Gameday would use, and b) Randy Wolf apparently throws one, either deliberately or not.
