Stubbs played that well. Bad relay by Cozart, they should've had the runner at the plate.

True. That one seems the most frustrating in my opinion though. Man I can't wait until #19 is back.
And Leake is getting into a pretty big jam. |

Inning over on a close play that probably didn't have to be close.

Re: 8/9/2012 Reds vs Baby Bears
Just bad pitching in that inning.
Castro is one of the few Cubs with pop in his bat. In that spot, he Ks Soriano, Leake just can't give Castro a good pitch to hit. If necessary, you take your chances on this Valbuena guy. Leake and Arroyo have not pitched well over the last month, and pitches like that are the reason. C'mon Mike, you're a finesse pitcher, you have to locate the ball better than that. |

Re: 8/9/2012 Reds vs Baby Bears
Now Mike is afraid to throw the ball over the plate as Cairo falls down and still makes the play.

Re: 8/9/2012 Reds vs Baby Bears
Welsh is right. The score keeper has to account for the runner going to third somehow.
