Re: 8/10/12 - Reds @ Cubs
Cozart K's to start the game. 70 degrees in Chicago. That sounds really good after a extremely hot summer here in DC.
Stubbs grounds out for the 2nd out.

And if they do that, and leave Rolen on the DL until after 9/1, I believe that would expand the pool of playoff-eligible players by one.

I'm listening, not watching. Should Valdez have made that play?

Re: 8/10/12 - Reds @ Cubs
Cubs announcers just compared Homer Bailey to Justin Germano. "Similar pitching styles. This guy isn't going to overpower anybody." Ouch babe.

Re: 8/10/12 - Reds @ Cubs
Thanks. I'm listening too. Kelch didn't describe the play very well.

Bloop hit to left center. Stubbs attempted a sliding catch but could not come up with it. 1st and 2nd.

Re: 8/10/12 - Reds @ Cubs
This sucker might get ugly real quick. And with the end blowing in, and this lineup, it might become six straight losses in a hurry if this inning gets away from Homer. Bases loaded no one out as Rizzo walks.
