You don't like losing games with your best pitcher on the bench?

Did somebody really scout this guy and think he looked like an upgrade? He looks defeated after every hit given up and he can't locate a pitch to save his life.

You're not kidding, he's gone from luxury to urgently needed. Hoover has been unhittable in Louisville, time to see if he can get some outs.

Phillips made a very nice play to snag that ball behind the bag at second and throw Barney out.

Dusty now with the proverbial "I've seen enough." Chapman's coming in.

Doug is too classy to do this, so I'll do it for him: He told us so. Broxton should not be pitching the eighth.

Rizzo gone swinging! Inning over, and we've still got a 9-8 lead.

Are you serious with this?

I'm not sure you're watching the same guy.

So all of the good outings mean nothing, but the bad outings are proof.

This board is downright silly sometimes.

Re: 8/10/12 - Reds @ Cubs

Reds have 12 hits, 5 walks and the Cubs have committed 5 errors and have 2 wild pitches, yet the closer still has to come in in the 8th inning.
