Even if Rolen keeps hitting, he'll need at least 2-3 days off per week. Ludwick needs to stay fresh too, so he'll rest about twice. Figure Votto will be given plenty of rest coming off knee surgery, and Frazier can play about 5-6 times per week.

Dusty does not have a contract for next year.

Will he do what he did in San Francisco, and leave for a bigger payday like he did when he went to the Cubs?

I'm assuming that is what happened. Why wouldn't the Giants offer him a contract after going to the WS?

This is what happened right? It's been a while and I might have forgotten something about the situation in San Fran.
I think Dusty would be an idiot to leave such a good young team but if he did, we'd have managers pounding on the door for a chance to manage this team. Color me not worried

Pretty stoked over how mega wrong I was about Rolen. There's likely a reason they're running things and I'm watching on FSO.

If not for an infield single and a bloop single into RF the Reds pitching would have had three straight shutouts. 26-8 since July 7th too. Pretty amazing.
