Walks to Phipps, Rodriguez and Soto precede a salami by Navarro. Bats lead 4-0 in the top of the first. Tim Gustafson (4.32) is smiling.

Re: Thursday 8/16/2012 Minor League Updates

Radhames Quezada, fresh off the DL, is spinning his wheels. He has given up three hits, three walks and two runs early on. Dayton bounced right back scoring two of their own. Game is tied at 2 after 2. Sammy Diaz reached on an error, Jefry Sierra bunted his way on and the Yorman Rodriguez brought both around on a single.

Okay this ridiculous. Louisville scores four in the top of the first on three walks and a blast. Tim Gustafson gives all those back plus one more in the bottom half of the inning. Bats now trail 5-4.

Bats trail 6-4 after 4 innings. Felix Perez doubled and Didi Gregorius singled. That's about it.

Quezada comes out after two innings. Not sure what the deal is. Wes Mugarian on. Mugarian has given up one run in his three innings on the mound. Dayton is playing add-on and leads 6-3. Sammy Diaz with his first home run for the Dragons. Yorman Rodriguez has two hits and four runs batted in. Jefry Sierra has two hits as well.

Re: Thursday 8/16/2012 Minor League Updates

Louisville falls 8-6 to Charlotte. Gregorius with two hits, Soto with two doubles, Navarro with a home run and a single and Perez with a single and a double. Gustafson gave up all eight runs in 4.1 innings. The bullpen was perfect after that. Bill Bray pitched a scoreless frame, walking one and fanning one.

Travieso had a learning experience: 3 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 1 BB, 0 K.

The Goodyears trail 8-1 in the sixth. Jonathan Reynoso is 2-2 with a double and got his name in Redszone.

Re: Thursday 8/16/2012 Minor League Updates

Dayton pulled out the big sticks tonight, scoring 12 runs on 15 hits. Sammy Diaz, Kyle Waldrop and Junior with three hits each, while Jefry Sierra, Yorman Rodriguez and Nick O'Shea each stroked two.

Q pitched two then was through. Mugarian pitched a quality start in relief - 6IP and 3ER, Muhammad gave a run in the ninth.
